Good morning and happy Saturday! Galatians 5:22-23 gives us one of the most beautiful portraits of what a Spirit-filled life looks like. Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control. Nine qualities that together paint a picture of a life transformed from the inside out.

Notice that Paul calls these the fruit of the Spirit — not the work of the Spirit. Fruit isn’t forced or manufactured. It grows naturally from a healthy root. When we stay connected to the vine — abiding in Christ, walking in step with the Spirit — these qualities begin to grow in us organically.

Which of these fruits do you most need today? Ask the Spirit to cultivate it in you. Not through striving, but through surrender. Stay connected to the vine, and the fruit will come.

Holy Spirit, I want to bear good fruit. Help me to stay connected to You today — not striving in my own strength, but surrendering to Yours. Grow in me love, joy, peace, and all the fruit that comes from walking with You. Amen.
