Good morning and happy Monday! Joshua is at the end of his life, addressing the nation of Israel one final time. And his challenge is as relevant today as it was then: choose. Not someday. Not when it’s convenient. This day. Whom will you serve?

Every day we make that choice — often not in one dramatic moment, but in a hundred small ones. Will I choose integrity or compromise? Generosity or selfishness? Faith or fear? Gratitude or complaint? Each small choice is an act of worship — a declaration of who we’re serving.

Joshua didn’t wait to see what everyone else would do. He made his declaration boldly: as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. That’s the posture of a leader, a parent, a person of faith. Make your declaration today. Choose well.

Lord, I choose You today. In every decision, every conversation, every moment — I want to serve You. Help me to make choices today that reflect that commitment. As for me, I will serve the Lord. Amen.
