Good morning! Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of the most beloved passages in Scripture — and one of the most challenging to actually live. Trust with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. Submit in all your ways. These aren’t partial commitments. They’re total ones.

Our natural instinct is to trust God up to a point — and then take the wheel when things get uncertain. We pray, but we also worry. We surrender, but we also strategize obsessively. God isn’t asking us to stop thinking — He’s asking us to stop leaning on our own understanding as our primary source of security.

The promise is beautiful: He will make your paths straight. Not necessarily easy. Not necessarily fast. But straight — purposeful, directed, guided by the One who sees the whole road. Trust Him today with the parts you can’t figure out.

Lord, I choose to trust You today — with all my heart, not just part of it. Where I’m tempted to lean on my own understanding, redirect me to You. Make my paths straight. I submit my ways to You today. Amen.
