Good morning and happy Friday! Three commands, packed into two verses: rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances. And then Paul adds something remarkable: this is God’s will for you. If you’ve ever wondered what God’s will is for your life — here’s a piece of it. Gratitude. Joy. Prayer. Always.

Notice it doesn’t say give thanks for all circumstances — as if we’re supposed to be grateful that hard things happen. It says give thanks in all circumstances. There’s always something to be grateful for, even in the hardest seasons. The breath in your lungs. The grace that covers you. The God who hasn’t left.

Start your Friday with gratitude. Not because everything is perfect — but because God is good, and that’s always true. Rejoice. Pray. Give thanks. This is the life He’s called you to.

Lord, I choose gratitude today. Thank You for Your goodness, Your grace, and Your presence — even in the hard moments. Help me to rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in every circumstance. Amen.
