Good morning! Isaiah 40:31 is one of the most beloved promises in all of Scripture — and it comes at the end of a passage where God is reminding His people of His incomparable greatness. He never grows tired. He never grows weary. And those who wait on Him — who hope in Him, who trust in Him — will find their strength renewed.

The word “wait” here isn’t passive. It’s an active, expectant waiting — like a soldier waiting for orders, or a servant watching for their master. It’s the posture of someone who is fully attentive, fully trusting, fully expectant that God will come through.

Are you weary today? Are you running on empty? Wait on the Lord. Not as a last resort — as a first response. He renews. He restores. He lifts. Those who hope in Him will soar.
