📖 Today's Verse
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength." — Philippians 4:13 (NIV)
✨ Devotional
Good morning and happy Friday! Philippians 4:13 is one of the most quoted verses in Scripture — and one of the most misunderstood. It’s not a promise that we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. Read in context, Paul is saying something even more powerful: whatever situation I find myself in — abundance or need, comfort or hardship — I can face it through Christ who strengthens me.
Paul wrote these words from prison. Not from a mountaintop moment, but from a cell. And yet he had found the secret of contentment: it’s not about circumstances. It’s about the One who walks through every circumstance with you.
Whatever you’re facing today — a hard conversation, a daunting task, a season of waiting, a moment of celebration — you don’t face it alone. Christ is your strength. That’s not a motivational slogan. It’s a promise.
🙏 A Prayer for Today
Lord, I need Your strength today. Not just for the big things — but for all of it. Thank You that I don’t have to face anything alone. You are my strength in every season. Amen.
