✨ Devotional

Good morning! Fruit doesn’t grow overnight. It takes time, the right conditions, and a healthy root system. The same is true of the fruit of the Spirit. These qualities — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control — aren’t things we manufacture through willpower. They grow naturally when we stay connected to the Vine.

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” (John 15:5) The secret isn’t trying harder — it’s staying closer. The more time we spend with Jesus — in prayer, in His Word, in worship — the more His character naturally flows through us.

Which fruit do you most need today? Ask Him for it. Then stay close to the Vine and watch it grow.

Lord, I want to bear fruit that reflects Your character. Help me to stay connected to You today — in every conversation, every decision, every moment. Grow Your love, joy, and peace in me. Amen.
