Good morning! In Jesus’ day, a shepherd was with his flock constantly — leading them to food and water, protecting them from predators, searching for the lost ones. It was personal, sacrificial, and tireless work. And Jesus says: that’s what I am to you.

He doesn’t just know about you — He knows you. Your name. Your fears. Your tendencies to wander. Your deepest needs. And He laid down His life for you anyway. Not because you were perfect, but because you were His.

Whatever you’re facing today, you are not a nameless face in a crowd. You are known by the Good Shepherd. He sees you, He leads you, and He will not lose you. Follow His voice today — it’s the one that always leads somewhere good.

Lord, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. Thank You that You know me by name and that You laid down Your life for me. Help me to hear Your voice clearly today and follow where You lead. Amen.
