Good morning! As we head into Independence Day weekend, freedom is on everyone’s mind. We celebrate the freedom of a nation — and that is worth honoring. But this morning, let’s also pause to celebrate a deeper freedom: the freedom that only Christ can give.

There are things that can hold us captive even in a free country — fear, shame, addiction, bitterness, the weight of past mistakes. Human laws and rights can’t touch those chains. But Jesus can. When He sets someone free, it’s not a partial freedom or a temporary one. It’s free indeed — complete, lasting, and rooted in love.

Whatever has had a hold on you — whatever you’ve been carrying that was never yours to carry — bring it to Him this morning. The same power that conquered death can break any chain. That’s worth celebrating. 🇺🇸

🙏 A Prayer for Today

Lord, thank You for the freedom You’ve purchased for me. Where I’m still living like I’m in chains, remind me that I am free. Help me to walk in that freedom today and every day. Amen.
